Valley Equine Hospital (VEH) is a busy Equine Hospital in the centre of Lambourn, one of the largest training areas for thoroughbred racehorses in Europe.
The hospital is purpose built and is proud to be an RCVS accredited Equine Hospital. The VEH veterinary team includes experts in a variety of fields, with extensive clinical expertise and experience in both TB racing and breeding work, as well as sports horse practice.
Hospital facilities are purpose built with sophisticated diagnostic and surgical equipment, and a full in-house laboratory with BEVA/VetQas accreditation.
VEH has a fully equipped operating theatre which includes a complete range of orthopaedic AO/ASIF and arthroscopy equipment, soft tissue and laparoscopic equipment, specialist anaesthetic monitoring equipment and directly observed rope assisted recovery.
There is also an intensive care unit for both adult horses and neonatal foals. Imaging facilities include the latest digital nuclear scintigraphy, digital radiography, ultrasonography, videoendoscopy and videogastroscopy equipment. An overground endoscopy service is also available.
